eCOGRA, the leading accreditation agency for online gambling operators, evaluates operators such as online casinos against its fair gaming, integrity, high standards of operational conduct and player service. So far 146 online gambling sites have demonstrated a practical commitment to these standards and have thus been awarded the coveted eCOGRA “Safe & Fair” seal.
Andrew Beveridge, chief executive at eCOGRA announced through a press release dated August 30, 2011, that Beltic has become the latest successful online gambling site to have successfully gone through the accreditation procedure and joined the elect group of online gambling operators to be approved by eCOGRA.
Betclic operates online gambling portals such as an online poker room, an online sports book and an online casinos and is a popular brand of the Betclic Everest group.
Beveridge announced that Betclic is highly experienced and well established in the industry. Betclic has previously achieved compliance with the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) standards and eCOGRA’s rigorous on-site inspection and review process was therefore much less taxing for them.
The audit and inspection leading to the accreditation of Betclic was carried out by a Chartered Accountant and Information Systems Auditor, Bradley Khoury, who thereafter reported to the eCOGRA Seals Compliance Committee. Khoury told eCoGRA that the Betclic compliance team was extremely dedicated and cooperative and that the eCOGRA team members were allowed unrestricted access to the Betclic staff and any required information. He added that the organization showed strong resilience and its commitment to compliance was noteworthy.
The elite list of online casinos operators who carry the eCOGRA seal at their web sites include some of the leading names in the business.
